We recently attended a Beaverton City Council meeting regarding the proposed homeless camping ban. It is in this moment that I realize...we are considered homeless. In this episode, I discuss my former and current perceptions of homelessness, as well as some of the negative treatment that we receive from the people whom are generally perceived as "normal" citizens.
Please join me in a discussion on homelessness. We all have different experiences, on either sides, and I'd love to read them! Don't be afraid to share your negative judgements - sometimes that can be the best way to grow. I certainly had a different perspective on homelessness before we began our bus life journey. But, I am proud to live an alternative lifestyle. Better homeless and a decent person than a home-r and a general jerk. What do you call someone who isn't homeless?
